Reuters has enhanced its FX, money-market and debt services to link live quotes to targeted news and analysis from its Treasury News Service. Users will be able to access news and analysis relevant to the instruments they are following with a single button. The functionality will be rolled out to over 18,000 FX, money-market and debt instruments, covering exclusive and non-exclusive contributed data from over 2,200 sources. The news will be directly linked to the rates when they are displayed as individual quotes, as part of quote chains or personal quote lists, as well as in charting and technical analysis applications.
eSignal, a division of Interactive Data Corporation, has expanded its European content offering with the addition of new stock exchanges and historical and intraday European financial data. The coverage now includes real-time streaming stock data, indices and corporate bond data from 17 European exchanges. eSignal's sister organization, FT Interactive Data, will aggregate and transmit the European data into the eSignal infrastructure supporting its data-delivery platform.
Alacra has launched a new "Pay Per Book" pricing plan for its Alacra Book, an online service the aggregates company-specific information from many sources and publishes it to a single PDF document. Users can now pay for individual books for a set fee plus the cost of the content used. The new pricing plan aims to attract smaller and medium-sized investment bank customers as well as the larger firms.
