UNX Adds Access to Knight's E-trading Services, Algos

UNX has upgraded access to Knight Direct’s electronic trading services, a move that will allow clients to use Knight’s full array of algorithmic trading and smart order routing strategies.

UNX, which already enabled traders to use its Knight Link and Knight Match trading models, also said it integrated the entire suite of Knight Direct’s electronic trading services and algorithms into its Catalyst Execution Management System and Portal.

In a statement, Knight Managing Director Joseph Wald said Catalyst is the “ideal tool” for giving buy-side and sell-side traders customized features that support personal trading styles and tactics.

“Catalyst will enhance our ability to deliver our solutions to mutual clients as quickly as possible.”
