Algorithmics and Bloomberg have teamed up to launch Algo Data Loaders for Bloomberg Data for Algo Suite customers. The data loaders populate Algo Suite with market and securities data available through Bloomberg's Data License product. Users can automatically map terms and conditions together with instrument prices and risk factor data such as interest rate curves, index prices and exchange rates for a variety of instruments types into Algo Suite. Separately, Algorithmics will now offer a distributed computing version of its Algo Suite using LiverCluster 3G application infrastructure platform provided by DataSynapse. This will enable customers to run Algo Suite across environments running both Linux and Sun's Solaris operating systems.
