UBS Securities Automates Exception Processing with ADP Workflow
UBS Securities LLC has signed a multiyear contract to use ADP's Workflow solution. This will enable UBS Securities to automate the handling and resolution of its Purchase & Sales (P&S) breaks in an effort to mitigate risk exposure and reduce operational costs.
ADP worked with UBS as a beta client to gather its requirements and help define the system's functionality. Prior to implementing this automated approach to handling exceptions processing, UBS had a manually intensive process for handling breaks.
The system automates exception processing through user-defined, parameter-based business and routing rules. Users can create personalized views through a browser-based application with sorting and filtering capabilities. The system has an audit trail that increases accountability, and reports that measure productivity and identify operational efficiency in a firm.
