Arman Falsafi Manages CME Europe and Asia
Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), a U.S. futures exchange, appointed Arman Falsafi as managing director, Europe and Asia. Falsafi joined CME in 1999 as senior director, technology strategy. In 2001, she was promoted to managing director and has been instrumental in the growth of CME's GLOBEX electronic trading platform.
"Over the last three years, my primary responsibility has been the business side of GLOBEX," she explains. "In that capacity, I focused on a number of different things - first and foremost [was] listening to our customers, understanding what they needed in the GLOBEX platform and making those needs become reality."
Falsafi will relocate from Chicago to London, where she will spearhead the expansion of GLOBEX's international customer base, overseeing CME's offices in London, Tokyo and Sydney.
