Radianz Names Currenex's Garzilli to Spearhead Business in North America
Radianz appointed Robert Garzilli as managing director, America, a newly created position. Garzilli is responsible for driving the overall business development, including sales and service delivery, in the North America region. Based in the New York office, he reports to Rick Snape, general manager, extranet business unit.
"As Radianz's shared market infrastructure platform continues to gain traction, we recognized the need to have someone directly responsible for spearheading our efforts in North America," states P. Howard Edelstein, president and CEO of Radianz, in the release. Edelstein further states that customers come to Radianz because they know of its expertise in the connectivity requirements of financial-service firms. "Bob brings an extensive knowledge of the financial-services industry, in particular the FX [foreign-exchange] market, which makes him a perfect fit for the job," states Radianz's CEO in the release.
Prior to joining Radianz, Garzilli was with Currenex, the online trading service for the $1.5 trillion-per-day foreign-exchange market, where he was in charge of global sales, customer service, strategy and strategic alliances. He previously spent five years with Oracle as vice president, financial services.
