Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation has selected Sybase's PATRIOTcompliance solution to comply with the USA Patriot Act of 2001. The PATRIOTcompliance solution front-end uses Sybase's Enterprise Portal technology to manage, present and report suspicious transactions as well as to maintain and update SDN, OFAC and FBI lists.
Egar Technology has released a Web-based analytical tool for equity and equity options traders. The new Egar Dispersion ASP tool enables users to analyze factors that determine the success of volatility dispersion trading strategies. A range of indices is also available for sector analysis so traders can filter and select opportunities more effectively and efficiently. The new Dispersion ASP tool compliments the stand-alone client/server Egar Dispersion system with portfolio analysis and risk reporting functionality.
TD Securities has tapped NumeriX for a project to develop an enhanced derivatives trading and risk management system. The new system will enable the firm to consolidate information from key areas to get a real-time view of risk for both trading desks and management. The global cross-asset trading platform will cover credit derivatives, fixed income derivatives and equity derivatives. The project will be completed in several phases, with full implementation expected in 3 years.
