JPMorgan Investor Services announced that it has been selected by the Dallas Police and Fire Pension System as custodian for its $1.9 billion in assets. The Dallas Police & Fire Pension System's public-defined-benefit plan is one of the largest retirement plans for police officers and firemen in the United States. JPMorgan will provide domestic and global custody, accounting, securities lending, performance and analytics, and compliance reporting to the Dallas Police & Fire Pension System.
Computer Clearing Services, Inc. (CCS), a provider of technology and clearing services for investment professionals, announced that Genesis Securities, LLC has switched from its long-time clearing firm to clear and settle all trades through CCS. Founded by William Yeh and named by MAR (Managed Account Report) as one of the five top emerging traders in 1997, Genesis is one of the country's largest volume proprietary-trading firms.
SunGard eProcess Intelligence, an operating unit of SunGard, announced that the Florida State Board of Administration (FSBA) has selected intelliMATCH for automation of reconciliation activities within FSBA's investment operations. The Florida Retirement System's defined benefit and defined contribution plans' assets are managed by the FSBA.
