Reuters has appointed Greg Meekings as Chief Information Officer to head all internal business systems and administration. Based in London, Meekings will report directly to Philip Green, Chief Operating Officer at Reuters. Meekings will also lead the strategic direction of Reuters global business processes and systems and work to expand customer service initiatives. He will also be responsible for IT security and sourcing across the Reuters Group. Meekings has been with Reuters for more than 15 years, most recently as managing director of Reuters Global Services.
Tullett Financial Information has launched its SwapMarkerNorthAmerica on Bloomberg. Sourced from the Tullett & Tokyo Liberty Group, the SwapMarkerNorthAmerica provides benchmark USD interest rate swaps information. SwapMarkerNorthAmerica will also include Cantor Fitzgerald's benchmark US Treasury data for Bloomberg customers subscribing to Cantor Market Data's US Treasury or European Government Bond product.
The Relegence Corporation, a provider of real-time news analysis systems to the financial markets, has teamed up with Dow Jones Newswires to distribute real-time Dow Jones news. Under the agreement, Relegence will distribute a range of Dow Jones' news packages through its KnowledgeHub platform. Relegence customers will be able to receive targeted news stories according to their specifications and will subscribe directly from Dow Jones Newswires.
