Eze Castle Rolls Out Hosted CRM for Hedge Funds
Eze Castle Integration has added CRM software to its list of hosted applications for hedge funds. It's using partner NetAge Solutions' Dynamo hedge fund edition CRM product and customizing it for clients. Dynamo was chosen for its flexibility and its reporting capabilities, according to Mark Coriaty, director of professional services. Eze will deliver, customize and support the product.
To handle customer contact information and interactions, Eze's current hedge fund clients use a gamut of solutions from Access databases to sophisticated CRM platforms. Several already use the .net-based Dynamo, Coriaty says.
But many hedge funds don't have a central repository for all investor data, Coriaty says. "We provide a portal so that all investor information, contact information, meetings and marketing updates can be viewed from one place and tracked," he says. "When a hedge fund is out marketing itself to raise capital, it has the ability to track all the different prospects and meetings all the way through to the investment. Once a client is on board, you're able to track performance and allocations and provide reporting based on investor need." Over the last year, investors have been looking for greater frequency of reports, he says. This software can provide monthly reports and mid-month estimates. "It behooves the hedge funds to be as transparent as possible," he notes.
Monthly subscription fees for the hosted Eze-NetAge software will be comparable to Salesforce's, Coriaty says.
Eze Castle already offers managed services such as a private internet service. A year ago it introduced Virtual Office, a set of basic office applications such as the Microsoft Office suite, BlackBerry management and file services, and 10 hedge funds have signed up for it. Eze also offers FIX connectivity for electronic trading.
