Do you know what is being said about your organization in the blogosphere? Rochester, N.Y.-based Techrigy's new monitoring tool, SM2, is targeted at organizations that want to scour blogs and wikis on the Web for mentions of their companies, partners and competitors to mitigate reputational damage and potential legal liabilities. SM2 also can monitor internal blogs and wikis for confidential information leaks as well as incidents of sexual harassment and other liabilities, according to the company.
SM2 provides an intuitive interface that allows users to filter and sort all keyword searches, Techrigy says. It works by finding every mention of a keyword across the blogosphere, enables users to specifically track individual blogs, helps manage results and can deliver notifications on a daily, weekly or monthly basis by E-mail or RSS feed. SM2 also provides reports and analytics that help organizations gauge how popular they are in the blogosphere, the vendor adds.
