Sauvageau Decides to Enjoy His Golden Years

American Century Investments SVP and CTO Robert Sauvageau announced his plans to retire and will begin transitioning out of his role at the beginning of 2007. Replacing him will be Gudrun Neumann, the current SVP of IT who holds responsibility for the firm's infrastructure service areas and application development teams for investment management.

Prior to working for American Century, Sauvageau held positions with the institutional services business of Fidelity Investments and American International Group. Now, he says, spending time with his family will be a top priority. "The first night I'll probably go to sleep without setting any alarm. I wouldn't see going back to work [anytime soon]," he adds. --Cory Levine
