TradeCapture has launched its ICTS Symphony trading and risk-management system for multi-commodity markets. Risk officers can map different periods, commodities or markets according to user-defined rules. ICTS Symphony supports all physical, exchange and derivative transactions.
Tanya Styblo Beder, chairman of the board of the International Association of Financial Engineers, has joined the Professional Risk Managers' International Association's Blue Ribbon Advisory Panel. Beder is also a managing director of Caxton Associates, a New York City hedge fund. The Blue Ribbon Advisory Panel also includes representatives from the International Swaps and Derivatives Association and the Risk Management Association.
EVault, a provider of online-data protection and recovery solutions, has opened two new electronic vaults and expanded into the Atlanta and Cincinnati metropolitan areas. The new vaults will be housed at SunGard's Atlanta facility and Broadwing Inc.'s Cincinnati facility.
FinArch has added functionality to its Financial Studio software to meet requirements of Basel II and International Accounting Standards. Enhancements to the financial-reporting software include risk-weighted balance calculation for all assets and off-balance-sheet positions as well as risk weighting calculation by reference to external credit assessment institutions' ratings or internal factors. The Financial Studio software also includes a credit mitigation routing with audit trail capabilities for collateral portfolios, guarantees, credit derivatives and netting agreements.
