SunGard Names Mack Gill president of SunGard Offshore Services

Mack Gill is the new president of SunGard Offshore Services, an operating unit of SunGard, which includes SunGard Offshore in India, that has provided software development to SunGard product groups since 1993. Gill will manage SunGard's growing development projects in India and explore other geographies to expand services for SunGard and its customers. SunGard Offshore Services in India has more than 200 developers working with 13 SunGard products on a range of technology platforms. Harsh Barve, chief executive officer of the Indian offshoring company, reports to Gill and continues to be responsible for managing operations in Pune, a university and software development center 120 miles southeast of Bombay.
