The Spaulding Group forms certification program for performance measurement.

The Spaulding Group, an information provider and management consulting firm, has formed a committee which is developing a certification program for individuals working in investment performance measurement. The company has assembled an international group of professionals to participate in the non-profit effort. The committee has been meeting since January and the certification will fall under the Foundation for Performance Measurement Professionals, a non-profit corporation that was recently created by Spaulding. The examination is expected to last three hours and will be first administered in November 2005.
