Cohen & Steers Implements CharlesRiver Investment Management System

Asset management firm Cohen & Steers recently implemented the CharlesRiver Investment Management System (IMS) to support its management of $15 billion in assets across domestic equity, preferred stock and high yield funds.

According to a release from CharlesRiver Development, a financial technology and consulting services provider, Cohen & Steers selected its system for its ability to accommodate the firm's existing portfolio management workflow and support its broker rules and targeting practices. The fact that CharlesRiver IMS interfaces with the firm's Advent Axys accounting system was also a consideration.

A representative from Cohen & Steers declined to comment.
