MFS Investment Management Buys New mValent Solution

MFS Investment Management, a mutual fund, purchased a new version of the mValent Infrastructure Automation Suite to accelerate its application server migration. The solution is designed to deliver automation, repeatability and manageability to infrastructure configuration management, saving large corporations man-hours, eliminating errors and speeding the deployment process.

Prior to this solution, IT departments had to resort to manual labor for managing application configurations, a time-consuming process that proved difficult, especially during complex platform upgrades, such as a switch from WebSphere 4.x to WebSphere 5.x.

"We purchased mValent's Infrastructure Automation suite to accelerate the migration and provide an ongoing, proven, best-practices-approach to automating the management of this highly complex application environment," said MFS Investment Management Systems Architect, Mark Jones, in the release.
