Wesley Clover Upgrades Trading Floor Communications Platform

Wesley Clover Solutions, a provider of IP voice communications platforms for trading firms has upgraded its virtualized trading platform portfolio.

Wesley Clover Solutions, a provider of IP voice communications platforms for trading firms has upgraded its virtualized trading platform portfolio.

The offering now features Virtual MCD (Mitel Communications Director), a real-time voice applications that runs in a virtualized environment designed for the VMware vSphere 4 platform. Virtual MCD enables users to access and install Mitel call control software on virtualized industry-standard servers.

With the software backbone, firms can build internal clouds to transform their voice infrastructure to be more flexible and dynamic.

Peter Madsen, President and CEO of Wesley Clover Solutions, said in a company statement, “The benefits of VMware virtualization for enterprises are well-documented. We are excited to be able to work with Mitel to offer our capital markets customers the ability to realize these advantages with their voice infrastructure.”
