China AMC Deploys Charles River’s IMS

The China Asset Management Company, the nation's largest fund manager, announced it's now using the Charles River Investment Management System for trade matching, confirmation and settlement.

The China Asset Management Company, the nation's largest fund manager, announced it's now using the Charles River Investment Management System for trade matching, confirmation and settlement.

The firm said that Charles River's platform, which integrates order management and execution management functions, integrates with its own proprietary trading software and the Chinese domestic back-office system that it also uses.

"The Charles River IMS provides us with a platform that smoothly meets our current investment requirements," Lu Xiaoye, the general manager at China AMC's information department said in a statement. The company added that by using the Charles River platform, its investment operations are now fully automated, which ultimately enables its asset managers to investment more efficiently in international assets.
