Advent Software Opens Office In Singapore

With Advent's client base in Asia doubling over the past 12 months, the new office will service users of Geneva as well as Tamale RMS.

has opened a Singapore office, the software provider to the global investment management industry announced today. This is Advent's third offce in Asia, with the others located in Hong Kong and Beijing. The Singapore office will cater to clients across the region and significantly boost Advent's presence in the fast-growing Asia market.

"We have experienced tremendous momentum in Asia, having doubled our client base in the region in the past 12 months. The Singapore office will help accommodate this increased momentum and further enhance Advent’s ability to deliver innovative, reliable solutions to the investment management community,” stated Peter Hess, President of Advent, in the release.“This move demonstrates Advent’s commitment to the region and allows us to better serve the diverse needs of our expanding customer base,” added Hess in the release.

Advent's Singapore office will help support the growing number of clients in Asia who already depend on Geneva, its global portfolio and fund accounting solutions, which integrates all phases of the investment management process ranging from portfolio management, accounting and reporting to client investor management and light trade capture and risk capabilities. In addition, the new office will also service users of Tamale RMS, Advent's research management solution.

“We are extremely excited that, within just two years, we are able to open our third office in Asia,” commented Guillermo Orselli, Director of Business Development, Asia Pacific, at Advent, in the release. “This rapid growth is in response to the interest level that investment professionals have already shown in Advent’s solutions, as well as our client’s strong desire to keep pace with best-of-breed technology,” further stated Orselli.
