Pipeline Integrates Block Equity Options Trading

Pipeline Trading Systems has integrated Blind Bid Options Cross (BBOX) for block options trading into its Pipeline order control system.

The system also now offers the Options Liquidity Optimizer, which quantifies the aggregate risk of each block option order and assigns the trade to one of three different auction methodologies.

Each user can customize the selection criteria for control over the search for block options liquidity. In addition, BBOX will also now accept Multi-Leg options orders.

David Mortimer, Managing Director of Equity Options at Pipeline, said in a statement, “This new capability demonstrates Pipeline's commitment to providing its customers with the best tools for their trading needs.
