FNX names Christensen to head Aspen Hedge

FNX Limited named Finn Christensen as executive managing director, of its new application-service-provider (ASP)-based hedge-fund services division, Aspen Hedge. In addition, the Philadelphia-based trading vendor signed its first three customers for the ASP service: Henderson Global Investors, Greenwich Capital and Luminary Capital.

Aspen Hedge is accessed through the Internet and is intended to support all products traded by a hedge fund, including foreign exchange, equities, exotic options, fixed income and derivatives.

Prior to joining FNX, Christensen was vice president and global head of sales at IQ Financial Systems. He previously worked at Data Synapse where he was vice president of sales and business development, and before that was managing director of Asia Pacific for C-ATS Software, a risk management provider acquired by Misys.
