Ness Technologies to Launch New Version of its Enterprise Reference Data Management Platform at FIMA Asia 2008

Ness Technologies, a global provider of IT services and solutions, will launch at FIMA Asia 2008, a new version of its enterprise reference data management platform, Ness Financial Data Enterprise. The FIMA Asia 2008 financial information management conference will be held September 16-17, 2008 in Singapore.

Ness Financial Data Enterprise allows financial institutions to take control of their enterprise data by automating end-to-end acquisition, management and distribution of reference data. The Ness platform acts as a transformation and enrichment hub consolidating disparate data sources through a dynamic metadata layer in order to deliver higher value data to end-users, systems, and value-chain participants. Ness Financial Data Enterprise enables financial institutions to cost-effectively ensure high-quality data flows into applications that support the trade and investment decision lifecycle.

"The investment management industry's pursuit of alpha demands they optimize their operational environments for multi-currency and multi-asset class processing," said Ron Olmstead, CEO of Boston-based investment industry consulting firm Olmstead Associates, in a press release. "The process often starts with a standardized and accurate reference data platform. Technologies like the one provided by Ness ensure the institution is in a position to improve client portfolio performance," he added.
