HP Eases Compliance Monitoring

To provide CIOs with a solution for automated monitoring and reporting of compliance controls, Palo Alto, Calif.-based Hewlett-Packard released OpenView Compliance Manager. The solution - which leverages industry standards - analyzes, compiles and reports compliance and IT risk information in a centralized dashboard view. "Compliance Manager provides an aggregated view of this set of controls so you can see in a uniform setting, for example, how you protect segregation of duties and how well change management is performing," says Chuck Darst, senior solutions manager at HP's management software business.

OpenView Compliance Manager is part of the company's broader HP Compliance Suite for the Financial Services Industry offering, which includes a customizable portfolio of management solutions and services for identifying, assessing and alleviating IT risk, as well as satisfying auditing requirements.
