Deutsche Bank has appointed Timothy Fischer as a Managing Director in Global Credit Trading in its Global Markets division.
Fischer will trade high yield bonds and credit derivatives for the firm, based out of its New York offices.
Previously, Fischer was co-head of high-yield trading for North America at Lehman Brothers, which was acquired by Barclays. He has also held high yield debt trading positions at CIBC and Scotia Capital.
In a statement, Nick Pappas, co-head of Investment Grade, High Yield and Distressed Debt Trading for the U.S. at Deutsche Bank, said, “Tim’s hire reiterates our commitment to providing world-class flow trading capabilities in credit. He is considered one of the top-ranked high yield traders on the Street and we look forward to working with him.”
