Upcoming Product Developments/Product Releases:

SS&C recently announced the release of CapitalSuite, an Internet Portal that consolidates a "suite" of information services, links to relevant market news and information, and web-enabled access to SS&C’s comprehensive portfolio of investment management software applications. CapitalSuite allows SS&C’s institutional investment management clients – and in turn their clients – to view, access, and report on a wide range of information relevant to portfolios resident in SS&C’s CAMRA™ 2000, Antares™ 2000 and other SS&C applications. Using this technology, you and your clients are able to use Microsoft Internet Explorer to access enhanced views, "slice and dice" capabilities, reports, and links to outside sources.

SS&C Technologies recently rolled out its XE development platform utilizing Microsoft’s Distributed Component Object Model (DCOM) development strategy and Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ) messaging services to deliver XML messages across a wide area, virtual private network (VPN) on the Internet. The XML messages contain workflow instructions, as well as content and schema description.

Access to many of SS&C’s applications is now available via Personal Digital Assistants (PDA) such as the Palm VII. The company’s Antares 2000™ product is now accessible via a Web browser, essentially enabling SS&C clients to access the functionality resident in Antares 2000 from virtually anywhere. Incorporating user IDs and security features, this new functionality enables traders with the proper security clearance to remotely access their server for full Antares 2000 functionality. Furthermore, LMS 2000, SS&C’s loan management system, can receive data from PDAs in the field when conducting property appraisals.

SKYLINE MultiFamily property management software is being released in the first quarter of 2001. A robust system designed to help on-site property managers operate smoothly at high occupancy, SKYLINE II MultiFamily expands beyond the standard accounting features of GL/AP, AR and PO. This flexible system excels in both a centralized and decentralized accounting environment, providing the capability for you to share, in real-time, data with remote offices and on-site managers. Operations can be extended into the field by using wireless technology to feed data back into your SKYLINE system for such things as inspecting units.
