At the general meeting of SIS Swiss Financial Services Group AG in Zurich, Christoph Ammann, chairman of the board of directors, presented "satisfactory" operating results of the Group -- mainly active as a service provider for the securities industry -- and of itsoperating companies SIS SegaInterSettle AG and S A G SIS Aktienregister AG. Northern Trust announced its ability to offer Effron's Separate Account Express to its institutional clients via Northern Trust Global Investor Passport. Northern Trust institutional clients will get access to a global database with information on more than 1,200 investment managers -- their people, products, accounts, fee structure, management styles, philosophy, and historical returns and statistics.

Jill M. Considine, chairman and CEO of The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, will give the keynote speech at the upcoming Securities Industry Association Straight Through Processing Spring Conference and Exhibit in New York City on May 19-20.
