Reuters to offer SuperDerivatives benchmark currency-options-pricing system.; Investment manager streamlines internal operations with Eagle Investment Systems.; Dow Jones partners with content-integration firm to produce Advanced Development Took Kit.

Reuters 3000 Xtra users will soon be able to access benchmark currency-options pricing from London-based SuperDerivatives. Reuters subscribers will be able to use SuperDerivatives to find mark-to-market and correlation rates. In addition, subscribers can access updates for 25-delta risk-reversal rates for some major currency pairs, initially on one-, three-, six- and 12-month intervals. Reuters 3000 Xtra subscribers can request a free trial of the foreign-exchange options-pricing service.

Threadneedle Asset Management Limited, a U.K.-based fund manager with $81 billion in assets under management, is set to streamline internal operations within its Investment Information Services business unit. The firm will implement the Eagle Pace data hub and portfolio-management system, Eagle Reference Manager, a security-reference-data management, validation and workflow system, as well as Eagle Message Centre and Eagle Portal, all from West Hartford, Conn.-based vendor Eagle Investment Systems.

These solutions will enable Threadneedle to build "DataNet," a one-stop information hub. Driven by the ISS business unit, DataNet will serve as a single distribution platform to used centralized and standardized processes to deliver corporately shared data and information. The vendor's package will help the firm to obtain quality and consistent data within multiple systems throughout the firm, said Dave Carter, Threadneedle's head of IT Architecture, in a statement.

Dow Jones newswires has highlighted integration in its new coalition with IX Partners, a Salem, NH-based content-integration firm. The two vendors are developing Advanced Development Tool Kit, a solution enabling customers to integrate Dow Jones content into the firm's applications, such as customer-relationship-management systems, Web portals and portfolios. The Tool Kit consists of a Feed Handler to receive and process Dow Jones Newswires and other content-source information, Data Access which stores news stories and documents in an reachable format, and functions for Search and Retrieval so that users can search, retrieve and display news and documents.
