TD Waterhouse will be rolling out 125 market-data and trading terminals from Proquote Limited, the London Stock Exchange's trading system and market-data business. TD Waterhouse will install Proquote's View and Trader screens in its United Kingdom offices in Manchester and Leeds. The screens will provide access to a Retail Service Provider platform carrying price information from market makers.
Interface Software, an Oak Brook, Ill.-based customer-relationship-management vendor, has released InterAction 5.1, the newest version of its flagship CRM system. The vendor has enhanced functionality as well as added Data Quality Services, which includes identification and reporting of data anomalies, name standardization and contact-duplication detection. Interface is also offering an optional module, InterAction Contact Verifier, which allows financial firms to request updates from their clients and contacts.
Mark-it Partners, a credit-risk-pricing operation based in St Albans, England, is getting a hand from Standard & Poor's Cusip Service Bureau on a new project. The two vendors are working to create a numbering system for Project Red, its reference-entity database. In addition, Standard & Poor's is planning a real-time update service for fixed-income-securities reference data, which is expected to be available in mid-2004.
