Market-data provider DTN Market Access, recently released six additional news services. The services include ODJ TraderWire, ODJ Financial Futures, ODJ MetalsWire, ODJEnergyFutures, ODJ AgriWire and ODJ CommodityWire, to provide enhanced coverage of commodity, financial and energy markets. The packages will be added to DTN's basic package, ODJOverview and offered to subscribers of DTN's analytical-trading system, ProphetX.

Three real-time business news providers are combining efforts to produce "World Business News Alliance," a global news service for the financial community. The providers, MarketWatch.com, AFX News Ltd, and Xinhua Financial Network, will debut their service on Thomson Financial terminals as well as Moneyline Telerate. The goal of the service, according to a press release, is to provide news content and insight from each provider's region and market. The service will be aimed at institutional clients.

Daiwa Securities, based in Japan, has liscensed StreetReference for its European operations' reference-data management. The Financial Technologies Product will enable Daiwa to use a multi-lingual, multi-currency platform to centralize its client and securities-reference information.
