Loykhter Leaves Prudential
Virginia will not be the new home for Bella Loykhter, who left Prudential Securities instead of relocating to the Southern state. The firm's prior executive vice president and chief information officer, recently departed from her role when the firm was merged with Wachovia Securities, and her job would have relocated, she says.
"I'm not interested in going to Richmond, so I decided that it was time to leave," she explains. "The experience was tremendous. It's sad to see, but it's time to move on."
"One thing I want to do is to make sure when I get into a new opportunity, that I evaluate my options," she notes.
While she reflects, Loykhter has taken on various consulting positions at firms including the San-Francisco-based business-utility-processing firm, Exigen.
Cindy Buckler, information technology director for Wachovia Securities, will be taking on the responsibilities of Loykhter's position.
According to a spokesman for Wachovia, Buckler is in the midst of an 18-month technology integration, combining the technology platforms from both Prudential and Wachovia.
