Anti-Money Laundering Legal Issues
Great Article on the Patriot Act. I am a lawyer and have a consulting business that focuses on the Law of Electronic Information and Management of Records for corporate clients and governmental agencies.
Given the events of the past several months, your readers could greatly benefit by having an article that melds the legal requirements of managing new information technology used ubiquitously on Wall Street (such as IM and e-mail, etc), and destruction (of Andersen) and mismanagement of records (of Merrill). It would be a timely article and appropriate for Wall Street & Technology - technology that makes it "faster, better, cheaper" meets law and regulations.
