IN BRIEF

Janna Systems Inc., provider of enterprise e-business relationship-management solutions for the financial services industry, has hired three new vice presidents to support its growth initiatives. John Sheedy, formerly a partner with Torys in Toronto and a Janna advisor since 1994, will be vice president of operations, general counsel and corporate secretary. Kelly Glass, who has worked with Merrill Lynch, CIBC and Manulife, is to become vice president of human resources, and Edward Chick, former director of sales for central and mid-west U.S. regions at Janna, has been promoted to vice president of sales.

Princeton Financial Systems (PFS), provider of investment management systems, will be offering BLOOMBERG Data License interfaces to its clients to facilitate connectivity to market data. BLOOMBERG Data License provides a security database to support asset managers' proprietary applications and enables clients of PFS's PAM investments systems--who have a data license agreement with Bloomberg--to generate request files and connect directly to Bloomberg's global securities databases. The interface will also allow PFS clients to import mortgage-backed securities data to process to-be-announced pool allocations.

Knight Trading Group has hired Robert Stellato as global head of institutional sales, where he will oversee the expansion of Knight's institutional sales efforts in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Before joining Knight, Stellatto spent 25 years with Goldman Sachs, where he was managing director of the equity division, co-head of the Nasdaq department and head of New York institutional Nasdaq sales. From 1970 to 1974, Stellato held various sales and management positions in the world of finance. He received his B.A. in Economics from Mt. St. Mary's College in 1965 and his M.B.A. from Long Island University in 1968.
