FinancialPlanAuditors.com has released its new Web site, which focuses on providing tools for financial advisors and their clients. In addition to a totally revamped, user-friendly interface, more than a dozen major enhancements have been added, specifically focused on helping financial advisors increase their productivity and turn prospects into clients. Among these enhancements are three new upload features that save time in creating new accounts for clients and prospects, inputting initial plan data, and allowing automatic updates of values to monitor a clients likelihood of meeting his or her lifetime financial goals.
Redwood Investment Systems, developer for redwood.com, an integrated Web console created specifically for professional portfolio managers and analysts, has appointed Rand Hoven to be chief technology officer, and hired Chris Matheus and Brij Masand to join its senior technical team. Hoven was previously at Netegrity where he led projects in advanced network security. Matheus, who joins Redwood as vice president of advanced technology, previously headed research and development for a number of areas at GTE Laboratories. Masand will be joining as director of knowledge discovery and intelligent agents technology. Prior to Redwood, he headed the data mining unit at GTE Labs.
Advent Software, a provider of investment management applications, has formed a strategic Trading and T+1 Solutions management group. This internal group will focus on building efficiencies into Advent products so clients can meet the demands that a T+1 trading environment will pose on their operations. The new group will be headed by William Penney, product manager for Moxy, Advents trade order management system.
The Institute for International Research is holding the Increasing Investment Management Operations Efficiencies Forum on May 15-16 at the Empire Hotel in New York City. The forum will focus on understanding the impact of industry growth and changes on investment management operations, refining investment processes and systems to improve operations efficiencies, and improving post-execution efficiencies.
