Simplify has released a hosted platform for alternative investment managers.
The platform provides hedge funds, funds of funds, pensions and administrators with capabilities for shareholder management, tax, private equity management, fund of funds portfolio management, and performance and attribution risk reporting.
The fully managed Simplify " Platform as a Service, launched through a partnership with Nerren Risk and TKS Solutions, combines TKS Penny, a Shareholder, Trust, Tax and Private Equity accounting platform and the NerrenSync Fund of Fund Accounting and Risk System on the same integrated environment.
The entire deployment and production lifecycle is supported on the same computing environment, reducing costs of development and maintenance, timetomarket and project risk, according to Simplify.
In this new deployment model, managers can leverage builtin scalability, reliability and security, while benefiting from support collaboration and builtin integration with other systems and external business they require access to, the company said.
The solutions are aimed at small to midtier firms who don't have the infrastructure or operations capacity to support advanced risk management or accounting functionality.
"The combined functionality of the solutions and availability of the Simplify platform means together we can offer a sophisticated, endtoend solution to all those asset managers with under $1 billion in assets under management, who are facing challenging operational times and need answers now," Brian Shapiro, president of Simplify, said in a release.
