Discovery Capital Management, a hedge fund, recently went live on the latest version of Finance Kit, Trema's solution for automation of the investment process. The solution includes order and portfolio-management analysis, Web-based reporting, real-time information capability and single point of deal-entry. Trema recently launched version 6.0 of the product, with enhancements specifically designed for asset managers.

Irish Life Investment Managers, an Ireland-based investment manager with assets over $14 billion, recently selected FMCPages, a Financial Models Company product, to perform its client-reporting requirements. The technology creates presentations for client meetings. In addition, the firm is also implementing the FMCPowerPages module, which allows investment managers to quickly create Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.

Asset Managers can now take advantage of a new service being offered by the investment-management consultancy, Citisoft. Citisoft has launched a Risk and Performance Service aimed at assisting managers in delivering cost-effective solutions required for analyzing, presenting and managing risk and performance.

At least we can admire the nice weather and some of the best quotes of the week.
