WealthTouch, Inc. introduces WealthTouch Portfolio Reporting; U.S. Bancorp prepares to go live on CheckFree APL to administer its separately managed accounts business; Barclays Capital announces two hires in Corporate Communications and Global Marketing.

Wealth-management back-office and consulting firm, WealthTouch, Inc. introduced WealthTouch Portfolio Reporting, a data aggregation, reconciliation and portfolio-reporting service that enables the integration of public and private investments into one reporting system. Using a proprietary portfolio-accounting system, WealthTouch Portfolio Reporting manages data-downloads from approximately 1,500 institutional- and retail-financial institutions, in addition to manually entering alternative-investment transactions.

CheckFree Investment Services, a division of CheckFree Corporation, announced that U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray, the Minneapolis-based broker/dealer, is preparing to go live on CheckFree APL to administer its separately managed accounts business. CheckFree Investment Services is a provider of outsourced trading, portfolio management, accounting and reporting services to broker/dealers and money managers in separately managed accounts.

Barclays Capital, the investment-banking division of Barclays Bank PLC, announces two hires in Corporate Communications and Global Marketing. Andy MacMillan joins as head of Corporate Communications and Global Marketing for the Americas. He will be based in New York, with responsibility for leading media relations, advertising, internal communications and marketing events. Additionally, Joss Mathieson joins as head of Internal Communications, based in London. He moves to Barclays Capital from a senior role in Group Strategy and Planning at Barclays Bank PLC.
