* Advent and Finaplex, announce a co-marketing agreement that will enable Finaplex to offer Wealth Management Platform to Advent clients. * Bank of Bermuda's GFS and Advent announce that the Bank will use Advent's Geneva, real-time global portfolio-accounting system. * The Vanguard Group unveils a new suite of financial-management services for its Vanguard.com Web site.

Advent Software, Inc. and Finaplex, Inc. announced they have signed a co-marketing agreement that will enable Finaplex to offer its Wealth Management Platform to Advent clients. Finaplex develops enterprise-software solutions for the wealth-management industry, which enable collaboration between wealth managers and their clients through consolidated data, value-added analytics and integrated transactions. Advent Software provides software, data and services designed to allow financial-services professionals to deliver wealth-management solutions to investors.

Also, The Bank of Bermuda's Global Fund Services division (GFS) and U.S.-based software provider, Advent Software announced that the Bank will use Advent's Geneva, real-time global portfolio-accounting system, and Advent Partner, for partnership accounting, throughout GFS's global network. Bank of Bermuda's GFS division selected Advent's products after a review of the systems in the marketplace capable of supporting the needs of the alternative-funds industry globally, placing particular emphasis on hedge funds.

The Vanguard Group has unveiled a new suite of financial-management services for registered individual investors of its Vanguard.com Web site. The newly designed Personal Investors homepage features professional-grade analytical tools, consolidated-account information, and personalized-performance data, delivered with privacy and security. Vanguard has rolled out the new site enhancements to nearly half of its registered users, with the remainder migrating to the new site in February.

Responding to increased market demand for a software solution that allows electronic-trading systems an inexpensive connection to the Electronic Message Exchange (EMX), Cameron Systems, a vendor for FIX engines in electronic-trading technology, released the CameronFIX EMX Integrator -- a connection solution to EMX. Introduced to the U.K. mutual-fund industry during 2000, EMX is a standard, based in the U.K., and managed by EMX Co. Ltd., to communicate electronic-trade negotiation, settlement and reconciliation for trading mutual funds electronically.
