A Note From The Editor

You may have read my editor's note in Wall Street & Technology last month in which I announced that I was leaving CMP Media.

You may have read my editor's note in Wall Street & Technology last month in which I announced that I was leaving CMP Media. I titled it, "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do." Well, breaking up with a company I had been with for almost seven years was so hard that I couldn't actually do it - instead, I am taking on a new role at CMP as Editor-in-Chief of Advanced Trading.

Since the publication's launch in March, we've received overwhelmingly positive feedback, and, as a result, we're putting in place an aggressive growth stragetgy. This inlcudes doubling the magazine's frequency from four times a year to eight times a year, and planning a high-level event at which we can bring our readers together to network and discuss important trading and technology issues. We have big plans for this publication - including growing its circulation, increasing advertising and, most important, continuing to inform our readers about emerging trends in the market, new technologies and vital industry news.

I'm extremely excited about my new challenge, and I look forward to reaching out to many of our readers in the months to come. The magazine still is in its infancy, and I welcome feedback on its direction from all of our readers.

I also will be building Advanced Trading's circulation list, so if you're a trader and want to receive AT, please let me know. You can reach me at [email protected] with any of your questions, comments and concerns.
