Apps On The Street: TD Ameritrade Sees Mobile Trading Increase 125 Percent With iPad, iPhone Apps

With traders increasingly looking for customized mobile solutions, TD Ameritrade has added the iPad and the iPhone to its suite of mobile trading offerings.

With traders increasingly looking for customized mobile solutions, TD Ameritrade recently rolled out apps for the iPad, iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows phone and Android, and has seen its mobile trading increase by 125 percent over the last year.

The brokerage's suite of mobile trading offerings enables clients to trade equities, futures, forex and options directly from the mobile apps, at the click (or swipe) of just a few buttons. It offers real time quotes as well as customizable charts and some analysis. In this video, Nicole Sherrod, Managing Director, Trader Group, TD Ameritrade, takes us on a tour of the online brokerage's app for the iPhone.
