Bridge has teamed up with DotEx International, which recently launched an online "brokers plaza" for brokers and general investors to electronically trade securities listed on India's stock exchanges. The site, dotexplaza.com, is a joint venture by the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE.iT) and i-flex Solutions and is expected to be available by the end of this year. It will be powered by Bridge Internet Solutions and allow users to view Indian data, news, commentary and analysis from BridgeNews.
Separately, StockVal, a Bridge company, has released StockVal PR to provide users with presentation quality portfolio reports. StockVal offers equity analysis, portfolio management tools and fundamental data to the investment management community. StockVal PR features access to the proprietary StockVal database to be combined with site-specific portfolio attributes for users to produce portfolio reports.
Bridge also announced that Cortal, a French online broker has selected Bridge for its online brokerage site, e-cortal.com, which offers service in five European countries. Cortal customers will have access to Bridge data, news commentary and analysis from BridgeNews on nine international markets.
First Call Web clients will now have wireless access to First Call Notes and First Call Real Time Earnings Estimates Database on Palm V and Palm VII devices. The application, First Call Wireless, was developed in partnership with Viant and iConverse, a wireless application platform provider. Users will be able to access the information on their Palm devices free of charge with their existing First Call Web password. First Call has also launched a Korean version of its institutional Web portal. First Call Web Korean is accessible from firstcall.com and allows users to access the full range of First Call's Web products, including Research Direct, Notes, Real-Time Earnings Estimates and Recommendations. Currently, 15 brokers submit research reports in Korean and a Korean version of First Call Web Author enables other brokers to submit Korean language research documents from a single user-interface.
