SunGard has launched a credit risk application service provider (ASP), which brings together global credit limits management, credit risk analytics, collateral management and Web-based communications. Dubbed Credient, the ASP is the next generation of the Risk Exposure Management System (RXM), which was recently acquired by SunGard. Credient will act as the credit risk engine for participants of the SunGard Transaction Network. Additionally, SunGard has released a new version of its Panorama enterprise wide real-time solution. Panorama 2000 provides integrated cross-asset trading, as well as market and credit risk management. The enhanced product incorporates the recently released Panorama Back Office suite of components for back-office processing.

The New York branch of Bayerische Hypo-und Vereinsbank AG (HVB) has implemented Algorithmics' Sentry solution for multi-department collateral management solution. The Sentry installment allows the staff in HVB's front-office trading, credit risk management and the legal departments to collaborate on collateral management deals. Sentry records and tracks master/collateral agreement information and calculates margin call requirements, as well as monitoring the status of collateral obligations and collateral inventories and providing management information.
