MARKET DATA

CMS WebView, a UK-based market data vendor, has launched a decryption-delivery-software system for its Digital Data Feed, a wholesale feed of real-time futures and options data from the leading derivatives exchanges. The DDFView software will enable non-specialist companies, such as news providers and brokers, as well as data professional to integrate and manage the DDF information without having to rely on extensive in-house technical expertise. The system runs on a standard PC and features data-management modules to decrypt and deliver the DDF data ready for integration into third-party software such as price-display terminals and Web portals. It can receive information via leased line, satellite or Internet connections.
ESignal, a division of Interactive Data Corporation, has added streaming, real-time European-financial-market data to the latest version of its online-quote system. Users will now be able to access data from major European exchanges, including Euronext, Deutsche Borse, the London Stock Exchange and exchanges in Copenhagen, Helsinki, Madrid, Oslo, Stockholm and Vienna as well as the Icelandic, Irish, Italian and Swiss stock exchanges. The data includes stocks, corporate bonds and market indices. The service is supported by eSignal software and is compatible with eSignal's Advanced GET software and third-party software such as MetaStock Pro and OmniTrader.
