Charles Schwab & Co. Inc. has recently implemented Checkfree Investment Service's M-Pact to facilitate the sales, advisory and proposal processes for its separately managed accounts. A Schwab-customized version of the product, under the private label, Money Manager Analysis and Proposal System (MMAPS), will provide independent investment advisors with Schwab Institutional with tools for client profiling, asset allocation modeling, portfolio blending and proposal creation.

Oregon State Treasury, with $44 billion in assets, recently went live with Eagle Investment System's portfolio management solution, Eagle PACE. The Web-based product will assist in automating the capture of its custodian's accounting data as well as improving reporting capabilities.

Headstrong, a global systems integration consultancy, has recently partnered with MacGregor, a global buy-side trade-order-management vendor, and FIX network service. The goal of the partnership is to bring MacGregor's experience with FIX protocol technologies to the Asian market, where electronic messaging standards are gaining momentum, says Jon-Paul Jones, principal at Headstrong in a release.
