Fifty-one percent of senior managers have taken files with them after leaving a job, which is twice as many as the general workforce overall.
As pointed out by Stoz Friedberg's report, "Senior management generally has more access to valuable information than lower-ranking employees. All three behaviors [uploading work files to personal accounts, rampant misfiring of sensitive information, and taking files from the job] increase the risk of proprietary information getting into the wrong hands. "
