Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Bank (SG CIB) is installing TraderTools' real-time foreign exchange order management system, OrderTools, to help reduce operational risk. The system will be installed at its global institutional sales offices in New York, London and Sydney. Jay Green, head of e-commerce at SG CIB, New York, states in the release: "Its database-replication feature allow us to pass the book seamlessly between offices on opposite sides of the world."
SG CIB will use the technology to upgrade its electronic foreign-exchange ordering system with spot orders, forwards and futures, including exchange for physical (EFP) synthetic contracts.
Order Tools is a component of the vendor's STPlatform trading system, allowing users to enter foreign exchange limit orders and execute and manage conditional orders.
