Ecora released version 4.5 of its Auditor Professional solution. According to the Portsmouth, N.H.-based vendor, the product discovers, collects, analyzes and reports on configuration data from a company's infrastructure and is capable of using predefined policies and report templates to assist with the change and configuration management necessary for regulatory compliance.

The latest version of Auditor Professional combines new policy-based dashboard and Web-based reporting capabilities in a streamlined interface, offers enhanced customized data collection, and includes the option of agent or agentless data-collection methods, Ecora says.

"Data center complexity and the burden of managing compliance initiatives continue to remain among the top concerns listed in every survey of IT professionals," said John Walsh, SVP of engineering for Ecora, in a release. "Auditor Professional 4.5 will allow IT managers to cut through the clutter and complexity of their network infrastructure and extract the information they need clearly, timely and concisely to effectively manage their environment."
