Program Description:
The University of Chicago’s M.S.F.M. program offers an integrated program of theoretical and applied mathematics and practical applications to derivatives pricing and the management of financial assets.

15 courses, 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time

Graduates are hired by hedge funds, exchanges, banks, insurance companies, etc.

Niels O. Nygaard. Nygaard has been a professor in the department of mathematics at the University of Chicago since 1982. Prior to joining the University of Chicago he taught at Princeton University. He holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from MIT. Nygaard has been director of the financial mathematics program since its inception in 1996.
