1. Who's Hiring in Financial Tech?

As firms continue to lay off thousands of employees – Citi recently announced it was handing out 11,000 pink slips – we found a bunch of firms who are hiring technologists.

Ed’s Note: It’s a good time to be a technologist on Wall Street, especially if you make sure you have the latest IT skills. Specialized technology skills are still in short supply and are demanding a premium in the marketplace. Meanwhile, total compensation, which includes base salary and bonus, is up for both IT staff and managers.
