MD, Head of Electronic Trading IT

JOB DESCRIPTION

Looking for a technology manager to lead Electronic Trading IT, to help create the next generation of trading, analysis and quant tools.

The role includes leading a team with line management responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
--Create and lead a world class team of business facing technologists, delivering new solutions to Electronic Trading.
--Manage relationships including the head of trading.
--Contribute to the vision of world class technology for Electronic Trading.
--Specialize in Smart Order Routing technology for Electronic Trading.
--Understand external trading platforms to appropriately design their interactions with the Smart Order Routing engine.
--Contribute to design and development of: Algorithmic Trading Engine, Smart Order Routing Engine High-volume, low-latency, global trading solutions
--Experience with FIX protocol
-Understanding of execution performance and transaction cost analysis (post-trade, VWAP)
--Strong statistical / financial / quantitative analysis background
